Karnataka Kalasri Pustakam Ramaa (P. Ramaa) had childhood inclination for music, being in such an ambience. Her Aunt Smt. M. K. Saraswati, an acknowledged Vainika, initiated Ramaa to music, later she received training from T.R. Srinivasan a senior vocalist. Ramaa’s unchallenged supremacy in music was amply acknowledged in every competition. She participated right from her school days, she was a marked winner wherever she performed with this proved record of achievements. Ramaa chose to take up her academic pursuit in music. She completed her masters degree in music with Distinction from the Mysore University. Ramaa received her advanced training from Smt. Nagamani Srinath and R. K. Srikantan with a rich input of resources. Personal experience, with a blend of dedicated devotion has made P. Ramaa a phenomenon to reckon in the musical topography of Karnataka.

Ramaas rich mellifluous voice with the effortless reach through the Octaves has charismatic blend of unique melody, depth of understanding and a soul stirring appeal to the listeners.
