A Single artist who can justify Carnatic, Hindustani, Light music & Commercial styles of playing flute – the only name which comes to our mind is Vid.Raghunandan. R who is commonly known as Raghu to all the musicians of Karnataka

Raghu developed his passion towards Flute at the age of 10 yrs by seeing his uncle Vid Raghavendra, who is a well renowned flautist.

Raghu started his tutelage under Vid. B. G. Shrinivas of Bangalore who is disciple of the greate flute maestro Vid T. R. Mahalingam.  Later he was initiated in playing techniques of different styles of music by vid. Ravichandra Kulur.  Presently he is learning under Karnataka kalashree vid Sunderasham.

Having accompanied almost all the leading Bharathanatyam, Kathak & odyssey dancers of Karnataka, Raghu is the most sought after artiste in the dance field, The Kirans, Padmaja Suresh, Kalakshithi Krishnamurthy, Padmini Ramachandran, Mara Rao, Praveen, Chitra chandrashekar, to name a few.     ....more
